I am measuring little Owen McNeely with help of this mom, Renata. She is brilliant at keeping him distracted (as best she can) while I measure him. While modeling, Owen gets to eat a lot of snacks, be read books, watch an occasional "Land Before Time" movie, and some times patty cake,..patty cake.. while I work as quickly as possible. Often I write down a measurement with the word "Est" (for estimated) next to it so I know later on that I am unsure if I got the perfect measurement since he happened to move at the last minute, but a fudged measurement is better than no measurement....with a lot of different measurements you can figure things out.

Owen's Dad is modeling as St. Anthony, so the family spends a lot of time together in my studio.
